Why do we need this survey?
We want to understand how music teachers and musicians in Switzerland are doing, how they see their future prospects and how they organize their lessons.
What questions are asked?
Quantitative questions about music lessons, future prospects, new technologies and teaching formats. Capacity, opportunities and challenges and insights into working with music students.
Who can take part in this survey?
All musicians or music teachers who would like to teach music students in Switzerland or are already doing so. Whether privately or in a school, employed or as a freelancer.
Why should I take part in this survey?
With your answers, you are part of an important survey on the profession and provide an insight that will hopefully help to support music teachers in Switzerland even better in the future.
What do you do with the results?
We collect all responses and compile a small study with the most important results and findings. The aim is to update the results every year in order to establish a basis for comparison on the development of the profession.
When will the results be published?
Depending on the response rate and the level of representativeness achieved, we will publish the results of the survey as early as April 2025. At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to leave your e-mail address so that we can send you the results.
Will my answers be treated anonymously?
Absolutely! No personal data is published. Individual statements in this survey are not relevant. It is only about the totality of the answers and their results. You remain anonymous as a participant.
Is my data secure?
Yes, we comply with the applicable data protection regulations and do not share any personal data with third parties and will not use the contacts collected for marketing purposes.
