Chat rules - Matchspace Music

For teachers and students

Be Respectful: Personal attacks, harassment, discriminatory language, or hate speech will not be tolerated. Use appropriate language.
Stay on Topic: Conversations that do not pertain to music lessons do not belong on our platform. We are a platform for music education. Promoting products and services is prohibited. No spam.
Report Issues: If you encounter problems or observe rule violations, report them immediately to our team.
Respond Promptly: Messages should be answered within a reasonable time frame, ideally on the same day. New chat messages are always announced via SMS.
Platform Bypassing: Sharing personal information (e.g., phone numbers, email addresses, web links, requests for private payments, etc.) to circumvent our platform is prohibited, will be automatically removed and flagged in the system. In the event of violations, we reserve the right to permanently remove users from the platform.
Violations: Offenses and violations are reported to our administrators through an automated system. Matchspace Music reserves the right to permanently remove teachers and/or students from the platform in the event of violations.

Privacy: Your privacy is always protected in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act.
No Eavesdropping: The Matchspace Music team does not log into chats or read chat histories or personal messages between students and teachers.
System Messages: Messages from the admin or responses to system prompts in the chat show us the status of requests and bookings and are tracked by our team.
Quality Assurance: The chat function is continuously improved and expanded to provide our customers with a great experience.
