Matchspace Music and the Zurich Chamber Philharmonic are joining forces: young ZKP talents will gain greater visibility and fill concert halls, while Matchspace Music will inspire even more people to actively engage in music-making. The collaboration combines concert inspiration with concrete learning opportunities—music students discover professionals on stage, while ZKP musicians find additional earning opportunities as teachers. It's a partnership that strengthens audiences, young talent, and music education in equal measure.

Dr. Ulrich Stüssi, founder of the Zurich Chamber Philharmonic: “We want to win over our audience for the young artists of the ZKP—with more attention, more visibility, and full concert halls. Together with Matchspace Music, we are reaching people who not only want to listen to music, but also want to create it themselves.”

The ZKP's mission is to raise the profile of its young ensemble and inspire a wider audience. Matchspace Music brings in its community of music students, who can draw inspiration from professionals in classical music and instruments – both on stage and in the classroom. At the same time, the collaboration opens up new earning opportunities for ZKP musicians as teachers.

Patrick Koller, founder of Matchspace Music: “Our mission is to get as many people as possible excited about making music. The partnership with the ZKP is ideal: our students experience inspiration directly from professionals—and talented musicians can work as teachers and earn a living.”
